The team behind Sobur are London lads who really enjoy (and constantly seek out) new experiences. So when the opportunity arrived to attend a morning rave that started at 6:00am, with the bold tagline of “Rave your way into the day!”, you know we had to see what all the fuss was about.
What Is Morning Glory London?
Morning Glory London really is a very different way to start the day. Here’s the description from their website:
“Morning Glory “Rave your way into the day!” is an immersive morning dance experience for those who dare to challenge morning culture and start their day in style! We’re on a soul-shaking mission to turn clubbing upside down and transform mornings into something truly remarkable and you’re invited!”
Currently held once or twice a month in a big east London hall or night club —the event I attended was held in Bethnal Green— Morning Glory is a little slice of fun and freedom created to help young Londoners relax, dance and be free, if only for a few hours before heading to the dreaded day job.
I mean, it’s hard to say no to all of this on a gloomy London weekday morning:
- London’s most beautiful music venue
- Amazing DJ’s
- Free wake up massage
- Great coffee
- Superfood smoothies
- A banging dance floor
What Is The Morning Glory Event Like?
The founder of Sobur Hangover Cure decided to visit the December morning glory event, snap a few pics and share his experience:
As soon as you enter, in fact as soon as you join the fast moving entrance que, you realise that this is going to be a weird morning; in a fun way. Standing right by the entrance I spot a tall man wearing what can only be described as Willy Wonka’s casual attire.
Once inside (a large hall with a stage up front and stands serving various purposes around the edges) I noticed a group of 4-5 ladies doing yoga and stretches on mats in a corner, a good size smoothie bar that is positively buzzing, a paper/chalk murial wall for people to tag and massage beds and chairs in another corner. Up ahead of me, a bunch of good looking people going hard on stage.
A man in a spiderman costume runs up to us, performs an impressive spiderman-style dance move and then scatters away into a crowd of around 500 people. It was likely more, but I didn’t have the opportunity to count. The music hits me, the atmosphere is euphoric, and I just have to dance!
A conga line gets started, with a man in a pink leotard leading the crowd. After about 10 minutes I’ve got a solid sweat going.
Morning Glory can really be summed up as a mix of:
- – Excersise
- – Relaxation
- – Stress Releif
- – Dancing
- – Fun!
I don’t want to spill too much about the event, as you really have to experience it (and likely be just as surprised as I was by it).
Head on over to their website at http://www.morningglorylondon.co.uk/ to book your tickets. You wont regret it!
Have You Heard About The “Miracle Hangover Cure” that Wired magazine, New Scientist and the NY Post are all talking about?
It’s called Dihydromyricetin and it will change the way you consume alcohol for ever! Sobur, our hangover cure supplement, uses dihydromyricetin (read more about Dihydromyricetin here) as our key ingredient, along with several other essential ingredients that replenish & restore key vitamins and minerals the body looses when you drink alcohol.
